As you know, Scrubs 2.0 will be premiering tonight on ABC at 9:00 pm.

As you may have heard, many of the original Scrubs cast has said their farewells and left the series. Here is the inside scoop of your favorite characters and their appearances in Scrubs 2.0.

JD only appears in 6 episodes of the new season. He wraps up his role as well as introduces the new cast members.

Turk is now a teacher in their new environment. He, as well as Dr. Cox teaches the interns. He is in the whole season.

Dr. Cox remains in the whole season teaching with Dr. Turk.

(Yes, it’s turned from a hospital to a classroom.) (>.<

Carla hasn’t appeared. AT ALL. We are a bit nervous how they explain her missing role.

The Janitor appears in only the first episode. 

Elliot will be in some of the series.

Kelso will be in season 9 a little bit.

Ted also gave his leave. He will be leaving.

But the previous intern, “Denise” will be returning.

The series will be narrated by a new intern, “Lucy Bennet.”

Well, I won’t give anything else away. You’re just going to have to watch it!


Some Scrubs fans consider Scrubs 2.0 to not be a part of the Scrubs series. Bill Lawrence says to think what you will.

Hey, everyone!

Sorry it's taken a while to update this journal. The lovely is in a bit of a bind, so she's asked me to step in and take the reigns for a while. Anyway, I'm sure you've all counted the votes yourself by now, but just to make it official, let's put up the results from the latest contest.

Anyway, as far as Scrubs news goes, there is officially going to be a spin-off. It does not have an exact name yet, though it's already been announced that the name will indeed be changed. The plot, or at least what has been revealed so far, will involve both Dr. Cox and Turk teaching medical school. JD and Elliot will be in the first six episodes to help with the transition, and the other actors/actresses will be making guest appearances, but the only permanent players, as of now, are Dr. Cox, Turk, and Denise (Joe) the intern as Chief Resident. (Which means the spin-off will probably take place two years after the finale) So...excited? Yay or Nay. Speak your mind.

Anyway, guys, I'm sure we'll think of a new contest soon (most likely for when the spin-off comes out around fall/winter) but for now, especially since school is rounding the corner and people are probably rather busy, we'll leave it at that.

SCRUBS SEASON FINALE, MAY 6!

First, a big thanks to for alerting me of this information.
Okay, since Obama-man just had to give a speech during Scrubs episode 8-16, the series finale was not moved up a week. Instead, Scrubs episode 8-16 will be shown on Tuesday, the previous day at the normal time and then the hour-long finale will still show on Wendsday.
Is that clear for everyone? (In the U.S.)
